Metro Storage LLC is a privately held vertically integrated operator of self storage facilities headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois focusing on all areas of professional self storage management.  The company developed Illinois' first storage facility in 1973 and has been directly involved with over a billion dollars worth of self storage facilities.  We currently own or manage 90 self storage facilities operating on a national platform.  We are in search of professional District Managers for the Chicagoland area who will have the following responsibilities:

• Manages the day to day operations of multiple storage facilities
• Conducts weekly site visits to review office procedures and inspect overall properties to ensure company standards are upheld
• Monitors property performances and makes appropriate operational changes to reach company goals
• Assists in developing and implementing marketing strategies to remain competitive in any given market
• Monitors market conditions and provides feedback to rental rate management of the portfolio.
• Conducts quarterly audits of all facilities
• Conducts interviews, hires and evaluates staffing needs for the district within budget guidelines
• Develops, trains, and mentors team of 15-20 employees
• Furnishes information and reports regarding the properties to home office
